ERC Starting Grant funded Postdoctoral fellowship: Our research group, located at UMR 6014 COBRA-CNRS Rouen (France), is currently looking for an outstanding and highly motivated postdoctoral research fellow to work on the “FarCatCH” ERC Starting grant project.
This project is part of our research program dedicated to the development of new methodologies by means of transition metal catalysis for the remote functionalization of molecules. A strong emphasis will be paid on the direct functionalization of unactivated C-H bonds and to build up fluorinated scaffolds. The postdoctoral fellow will be in charge of the experimental work, analysis (NMR, HPLC…) and the writing of scientific reports and will take benefit from an international research environment.
The candidate should have a Ph.D. in organic chemistry. He or she will have a strong background in organic synthesis. Experience in the development of new methodologies and in homogenous catalysis would be an asset (but not mandatory). We are looking for a dedicated, experienced and highly motivated candidate. Moreover, the candidate should have good communication skills and a good team spirit.
Starting date: Beginning 2020
Duration: 12 months
Gross salary: ca. 2900€ – 3500€ per month (depending on the scientific experiences)
