Yaşar Gök received her PhD degree in organic chemistry from the University of Ghent Belgium, in 2010, with Prof. Johan Van der Eycken related with novel efficient chiral ligands for asymmetric catalysis. She worked as Post-doctoral research fellow at the same University. After her return, she became Assistant Professor in the department of Chemistry at Osmaniye Korkut Ata University, Turkey. She became Associate Professor in 2015. She has been working as Associate Professor in the department of Biomedical Engineering at Mehmet Akif Ersoy University since 2017. She was appointed as the Director of Biomedical Engineering. She is also the academic board member of Technology Faculty.
